McKenzie Fall Session - Senior Ambassador

McKenzie McCorkhill - Class of 2022 - Frankton, IN

McKenzie is one of my senior ambassadors and boy do we have fun during her sessions. My team gets senior pictures in all four seasons and so for her fall session she wanted pictures on her families pasture. I absolutely love when seniors incorporate something that has meaning to them and their life, into their photos.

We had to change our session time due to rain, but we ended up picking a perfect time where there was a break in the bad weather. When I got there, we decided we would start at the fence and work our way through the pasture, and eventually end up with the cows.

I may or may not have stepped in a couple cow pies, but it was totally worth it. McKenzie was nice enough to warn me to wear some boots, so I was definitely prepared.

With McKenzie, she is always down for whatever. Most of the time she has a couple of specific shot requests. and then we just do whatever I am inspired by in the moment.

I am obsessed with her hair, so we definitely took advantage of the wind and used a lot of movement to catch some cute "aesthetic photos".

After we ran through the pasture we stopped at a tree where I was inspired to take the traditional "cowboy leaning" pose.

After the tree, McKenzie's dad was nice enough to drive us over to where the cows all were in his truck. We parked on the side of the road and climbed through the fence. Her dad was able to make them come running with some food and we started our cow pictures. I won't lie, this was my favorite part! I even snagged some pictures of McKenzie and Caleb while the cows watched them dance!

I had the best time during this shoot. One thing that I love about my job is the creativity of it. I cannot wait for our future sessions together!
